Responsibilities:
As an assistantengineerat our Company, you will be responsible for collaborating with various professionals to bring a client's construction vision to life.
This will involvepreparing technical reports, technical exhibits, and design drawings.
You may also be responsible fordrafting topographic surveys, preparing plans, and performing spreadsheet calculations.
Additionally, you may be expected tovisit civil engineering project sites and communicate with clients and public agencies.
Assistant Engineer
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Assistant Engineer position should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 0-5 years of experience.
An EIT Certification is preferred, but not absolutely required to be considered.
The candidate should have a working knowledge of analysis, design, and preparation of plans for building and land development projects.
They should also have exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D (version 2019 or higher) is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel are a must.
Previous experience as an intern or in a similar full-time position is strongly preferred.
The candidate must always operate with the highest level of integrity and honesty and provide excellent service to our clients.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and has excellent communication skills.
Professional Growth and Development:
As an assistant engineer at our company, you will be assigned responsibilities and duties based on your skill level and experience.
If you are an entry-level individual, you can initially expect to perform drafting and basic design duties with more oversight from senior engineers.
You will be expected to grow and develop, to take on an increasing amount of responsibility for projects as you gain more experience.
The ideal candidate is one who will eventually obtain their professional engineering license and will eventually become a project manager.
Eventually, you will be working mostly independently, with little supervision from more senior engineers in the company.

The salary for this position will be determined based on the candidate's skill and experience level and will be highly competitive with industry standards.
