You will perform routine clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine vitals, injections, urine collections, LabCorp send outs, EKG's, prep surgical tray, assist providers in procedures, and Covid-19 testing Escort patients to exam room Collecting specimens Sterilization of instruments Calling Rx to pharmacy if needed Answering Phone calls if Reception is needing help Multi-task Maintain a safe secure work environment by following policies/ procedures Stocking rooms/cleaning rooms Use EMR charting system/documenting all Medical History/Current History Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff Must complete all task in a timely manner Comply with HIPAA law Maintain professionalism Customer service Inventory management Written and verbal communication
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Certificate of Completion of Medical Assisting Previous experience in Medical Assisting minimum 1 year experience Familiarity with Medical Assistant policies and procedures Strong organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Bilingual Preferred but not required Job Type:
