Clinical Psychologist (Generalist)

The VA Central California Health Care System, in Fresno is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist Generalist for their Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located in Tulare, CA.
The Staff Psychologist completed an APA approved clinical or counseling psychology doctoral program, completed an APA approved internship, and has been practicing with a full state license for at least one year in the VHA or comparable professional setting.
The psychologist applies advanced professional psychological diagnostic methods and evidence-intervention strategies to a full range of patient problems in his/her work setting.
S/he has advanced knowledge of psychological diagnosis, intervention, and behavioral health that qualifies him/her to provide advice and consultation to professionals representing a variety of disciplines.
The primary job functions of psychologists at this level include the provision of direct psychological patient care, consultation services on difficult complex cases, and routine psychological evaluations where appropriately requested.
In some cases, the staff psychologist is also asked to provide education of staff, including classroom instruction, in addition to supervision of trainee's clinical work.
Likewise, they may have research, staff supervisory or administrative/managerial duties as needed and when approved by their direct supervisor and other supervisors when applicable.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
