Sizer Operator - 2nd Shift

Client in Tulare is seeking a Compac sizing operator. Individual must have strong computer technical skills.

  • Responsible for the proper setup and safe operation of the equipment.
  • Perform all necessary start-up/shutdown procedures, cleaning, and troubleshooting to assure accuracy of equipment operation.
  • Complete downtime tracking documentation.
  • Monitor fruit samples for quality, size, grade and identify when adjustments are necessary.
  • Ability to perform material and product changeovers in time allotted.
  • Execute our company and mission goals but not losing sight of employee and food safety.
  • Continuously monitor all relevant adjustments as needed to reduce/avoid downtime.
  • Participate in minding the fruit by taking ownership of their respective areas (continuously monitoring performance of equipment, quality of work, identifying barriers to success and taking meaningful action).
  • Understand other departments/areas to minimize any negative external impact to their departments.
  • Hand off to the next shift, a work area that you yourself would expect from the other shift.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement efforts at the facilities in Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Cost and Productivity

Quality Control fruit experience, Monday through Saturday, some Sunday's; 2nd Shift 2 p. m. to 12:00 a. m. or 1 a. m.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
